Steam Update Loop — Stop the Cycle

If Steam endlessly updates on start, try these fixes.

Steps

1. Delete files: %ProgramFiles(x86)%\\Steam\\package\\*.
2. Clear Steam download cache and restart.
3. Reinstall Steam client (do not delete steamapps).
